Our mission is to deliver outstanding treatment and care for those dealing with mental health challenges. We provide expert assessments and clinical treatment as well as support throughout your healing journey. We are dedicated to offering personalized and effective options that blend holistic treatments with traditional practices, enhancing physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.
Everyone can benefit from mental health support, whether it’s through conventional medication management, talk therapy, or nature-inspired solutions. We provide a range of treatment options that offer assistance and greater insight to help you navigate your current mental health challenges, leading to more joy, satisfaction, and vitality in your life.

The Brain Health Blueprint
Mental strength. That's our goal. We want to help you achieve greater mental fitness with research-backed strategies to manage stress, boost brain health, and overcome negative thoughts and feelings so you can pursue your true purpose in life.

Physical Activity
We help you discover enjoyable activities to regularly boost your energy and relax your mind and body. These activities may be as simple as taking a walk around the block, stretching, or dancing to your favorite music. Engaging in moderate exercise a few times a week can be just as effective as antidepressant medication.

Balanced Nutrition
Eating a healthy diet can be difficult, especially if you've had negative experiences with food in the past or are currently feeling stressed, which can impact your ability to eat balanced meals consistently. We're here to help you make better food choices that can improve your energy levels and support better brain function. Keep in mind that every small step toward healthier habits is important.

Positive Connections
When we lose touch with what truly matters, we can feel sad and isolated. Our goal is to help you reconnect with your core values, empowering you to lead a life filled with meaning and purpose. This journey may include engaging with your community, pursuing work and hobbies, caring for pets, exploring spiritual practices, and appreciating the beauty of nature.

Supportive Relationships
Being around supportive people can improve your mental and physical health, especially during tough times. We can help you connect with others, whether it's talking to a coworker or neighbor, or reaching out to a friend, even when you're feeling overwhelmed or alone. We'll regularly check in with you to provide support and guidance, helping you build stronger relationships.

Nature Engagement
Nature comes in many forms, including parks, playgrounds, and gardens. Spending time in these natural settings calms the mind and body, making us feel good. We offer clients a range of nature therapy experiences, from relaxing in our meditation garden to exploring local parks. This therapeutic approach enhances focus and attention, reduces stress, and helps balance emotions.

Mindful Awareness
Mindfulness is about being present in the moment rather than getting caught up in the past or worrying about the future. We will guide you in practicing mindfulness techniques such as breathing exercises and brief meditations that can lower your blood pressure and promote relaxation. These practices will also improve your attention, reduce impulsive behaviors, and help you make better decisions.

Quality Sleep
Getting quality sleep can be challenging. A stressful day can make it difficult to relax at night. High stress levels can alter our brains, keeping us too alert and interrupting our sleep. We're here to help identify the underlying causes of your sleep issues and develop a personalized plan to improve your rest, boosting brain function and increasing your energy and mental clarity during the day.

Self Compassion
Many people struggle with a harsh inner critic, which can contribute to feelings of anxiety, depression, and burnout. We want to help you extend the same kindness and understanding to yourself that you would give to a close friend. This practice can help alleviate stress, improve your coping skills, increase motivation, reduce fear of failure, and strengthen your connections with others.
Who We Serve
Our Clients
We work with adults and youth (ages 10 and up) who want to pursue a more holistic approach to mental health. Many of our clients have relied on conventional psychiatric care and medications but are eager to explore new options. Some have previously attended psychotherapy but felt their therapist or prescriber lacked a comprehensive understanding of their unique needs. Additionally, some clients wish to decrease their dependence on medications and seek safe guidance for effective alternatives with fewer side effects, while others are looking for a thorough assessment and reliable diagnosis to inform their treatment.
At Green Mind Psychiatry, we assist individuals in exploring both medication and non-medication alternatives through holistic methods that recognize the uniqueness of each person, including their identity, personality, family, faith, community, culture, values, and aspirations. We believe that with the right knowledge, skills, and habits, anyone can improve their mental fitness. Our compassionate treatment and support are based on the latest scientific research, designed to help you achieve your wellness goals.
